WHICH PRESS BRAKE SHOULD I BUY?
Press brakes are typically measured by their total tonnage, working length, and press force, and the particular one you need is dependent upon the thickness of material that you need to bend. A variety of other parameters are also important, such amplitude and work height. When choosing a press brake, be sure to pay particular attention to these specifications.

HYDRAULIC PRESS BRAKES
A press brake (also known as a brake press) is a heavy-duty machine tool designed for bending sheets or plates of metal and other heavy materials. Press brakes work by matching a corresponding punch and die. As the punch presses the sheet or plate against the die, the pressure bends the metal to the appropriate angle or shape.
Many hydraulic press brakes (including our premium FMS Press Brakes) include a back gauge and optical sensor for more accurately aligning the sheet or plate, which cuts down on costly mistakes. The backgauge also allows you to move the metal sheet multiple times between bends without manually re-adjusting each time, cutting down on manual load time and, ultimately, increasing productivity.
